SABnzbd Forums

A week or two ago I noticed that SABnzbd 0.5.2 was causing my ram to slowly fill up so that I'd have to restart my computer at least once a day or it would run out of resources. I've updated to version 0.5.3 but the problem persists.

I've tested in other situations and SABnzbd is the only thing that causes the problem. I never had the problem until recently and I can't think of any changes I've made to the system that would cause this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I have 12GB of RAM.

You might have been hit by this issue from our ISSUES.txt file:

A bug in Windows 7 may cause severe memory leaks when you use SABnzbd in
combination with some virus scanners and firewals.
