Version: 0.4.0 beta2
OS: Ubuntu 7.10
Install-type: python source
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? no

Just updated from 0.3.4 to 0.4.0 beta2 and the mail that you get from sabnzbd when the download is done, doesn't display the fake email address name anymore ( "email sender Who should we say sent the email?" ). It now uses the real email address instead of the pretended email address.

This did work in 0.3.4 but not in 0.4.0 with the same ini file.

Are you quite sure it has nothing to do with your mail provider?
I use Ubuntu 8.04beta and I still get the "pretended" sender address.
I use my ISP's smtp server, without authentication.

How did you configure your email?

Using Gmail but didn't change anything. I used the same sabnzbd.ini as the one i used in 0.3.4.

I will test it tomorrow a little bit more.
