SABnzbd Forums

So my sabnzbd has been working fine for the most part for ages. The times it would hang on crash was if my external drive which was my destination folder loaded after sabnzbd loaded. For the past couple of days though I start it and the icon in the top bar of leopard 10.6.3 just shows a beach ball if I move the mouse over it. I've tried force quitting and restarting dozens of times but always same behavior. In the case I mentioned above of my destination download folder not loading before sabnzbd and thus the program hanging I would force quit sabnzbd and load again and it would revert back to default folder and everything would be fine.

Also I'm currentlybusing 0.5.3. I also tried downgrading to 0.5.2 but same problem. I'm on snow leopard 10.6.3

I guess " error: [Errno 49] Can't assign requested address" the most interesting and informative part. Maybe you have filled out an IP address to which SAB should bind?

Anyway: find sabnzbd.ini on your Mac (try ~/Library/Application Support/SABnzbd/sabnzbd.ini) ,rename it, start SAB, and I guess it should fire up the setup wizard. Do not fill out an address SAB should listen to; SAB will find it automagically.
