Hi

I've just got to grips with this after previously using vuze and torrent. Have to say, I love it.

Anyway, downloaded a movie and everything worked great, Downloaded 3 using a NZBmatrix queue and it's downloaded fine but the quick check has shown errors.

My question is, does SABnzbd automatically fix the errors (I think it does), but how long should it take? The combined NZB is approx 20gb. Is there a way of seeing the progress of the fix.

Apologies if this is an obvious question, or has been asked a lot before

When something fails quick check it means all the parts were not available to be downloaded. Depending on the qualify of your host, this may be common. Once quick check fails, we go back and download pars if available. You don't need to know how exactly pars work, just know that they can fill in arbitrary missing data, but it can take awhile. You should be able to see the progress in your queue or history. You may need to have the history turned to "Verbose" mode.

So, two questions:
1) Who is your usenet provider?
2) When you downloaded your entire nzbmatrix queue, did it combine all three posts into one giant nzb?

ok, embarrassingly, i think i reached the limit of my giganews free trial!! I upgraded and the job is complete. Everything is in the download complete folder. It hasn't conbined all the rar files like previously, do I need to use unrar and do it manually?

If it failed, yes. SABnzbd 0.6 will have the ability to re-try and re-start jobs.
