Unrar-ed files&directories no longer being created

Newbiw Sabnzbd 0.5.2 user on OSX. Really enjoying this robust and powerful tool. After making some good small tweaks to the folders options so that completed downloads go to a NAS, this option has suddenly stopped working. The unpacking looks to occur, the original directory on the local system drive and all of its contents are deleted, but nothing is appearing in the target completed folder on the NAS. Must be something simple I'm missing. I've tried retyping the path and saving the options but it is not correcting the issue. Also can I recover the files that are reported as all A-OK in history without completely re-downloading the entire original file set? The files must be being unpacked somewhere. Thanks much.

If an external drive isn't mounted properly, the OS quietly stores the files somewhere else.
Stop SABnzbd, unmount the drive and tell Finder to search for your missing files.

Thanks, I finally found the files with your tip.

-Made all files/directories visible.
-Found a folder in the previously invisible /Volumes directory.
-I think the folder was named similar or just like the original target folder on my NAS.
-Did not check carefully but it appeared to contain most of the "missing" files.
