SABNzbd+ remote queue
Posted: June 3rd, 2010, 2:05 pm
Hey guys...
I'm new to sabnzbd and the forums and I'm loving the experience. I've got one question that I can't find the answer to though... (I don't know if this has been asked before, so my apologies if it has)
I've already set up sabnzbd to be accessed remotely through a dns if need be, but is there any way for me to have a interface that displays the queue without any way of editing it? I want to be able to have a friend/family member see the queue, but I don't want them to mess around / interfere with the order/categories/etc. I know there's a setting in sabnzbd.ini where you can disable the config menus, but it still connects with admin privelages (adding nzbs, sorting the queue, etc).
Is there any way to have some interface (parallel to the default interface) that connects to sabnzbd and only displays the queue in a read-only fashion (and ETA, download speed, etc if possible)? Something that displays the queue in a table/list format from anywhere (locally or through internet connection). I only have a VERY basic/simple knowledge of scripting, so I can't do anything like this on my own. I've set up sabnzbd with SSL and password protection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
L0rdL0ki
Oh, and PS: It doesn't have to display the queue in real-time...it could just parse the queue on request and display the results at that moment.
