Have to reinstall my OS - is there any way I can reuse the incomplete files?

Hi Folks,
Unfortunately I am out of limit with my provider, so I can't finish a DL for a couple more weeks.
However, I have to rebuild the machine before that, so it's a little irritating for me to have to re-download the files again.
Is there any way I can completely reinstall the OS, but somehow re-use the incomplete files?
Apologies if this is answered already, I searched but could not find anything about it.
thanks...

You will need to save these folders.
"incomplete", called "temporary download folder" in Config->Folders.
Assuming Windows, everything (including sub-folders) in:
Windows XP/2003: c:\documents and settings\user\local data\application data\sabnzbd
Windows Vista or 7: c:\Users\user\AppData\Local\sabnzbd
Make sure you restore to the same locations.
Good luck.

Thanks!
But that is just the temporary data, is there some settings files I need to keep as well?

c:\documents and settings\user\local data\application data\sabnzbd folder contains your settings e.g. sabnzbd.ini

Read my whole answer:

Windows Vista or 7: c:\Users\user\AppData\Local\sabnzbd
It's essential that you save all internal book keeping.
Saving just the "Temporary Download Folder" will not help you.
