I am using a PC, and have version 0.5.2 on it.  In the folders section, I have the file path pointing to E:\incomplete and E:|complete for my incomplete and complete downloads onto my external hard drive.  However I just noticed that everything that downloaded onto the E drive is also on the C drive as well (which is my PC hard drive).  Is there another setting I forgot to change?  I just want all the files to download to my external.

First, is "E:|complete" a typo, don't you mean "E:\complete"?
Check what happens if you create a file manually.
Is it visible on both drives? Isn't the OS fooling you?

Hi, yes I meant E:\incomplete, the other one was a typo.  As for creating a file manually, how would I do that in the program?  I noticed on the config/folders/user folders, underneath user folders it still says "c:\users\mike\documents". 

I doubt that the same files are created on both drives.

A common error is that people start SABnzbd before the external drive is connected.
When SABnzbd sees that your paths don't exist and cannot be created,
it will fall back to default paths (on your C: drive).

After my queue is done I'll do a test to see if that's the problem and report back

Yup, it appears that I already had it open and paused when I changed the directories, because now after I shut it down, and restarted with the drive connected already, it just downloads to the external.  Thanks!
