Hello, I'm having a strange problem with the Web server in Sabnzbd. I installed it as a service on my dedicated downloading box running Windows XP and all that is fine. The Web server works properly and runs as a service as it should, but I cannot access it from ANY wireless client. That being that to access the Web server locally I have to connect using ethernet to my router. The machine I use for downloading NZBs is connected wireless to my router. My router is a DIR-615 from D-Link and I believe that to be the source of the issue as I disabled all security software in all the machines I tried to access the Web server via wireless and got the same result. This little issue seems to be OS independent too and I got the same problem in Ubuntu, Windows XP, Vista, 7 and even the Playstation 3's Web browser. Is there some special configuration I need to be able to achieve complete wireless freedom? I tried disabling the firewall in my router just for testing purposes and got the same result. Also, the message I get in the browser is "the server is taking too long to respond." Could I please have some help? Thank you in advance.
On a side note, this is the most awesome NZB software ever! Just wanted to say that I appreciate it a whole lot what you devs have produced here, I uninstalled another NZB downloader within a few minutes of reading the feature list in Sabnzbd. Awesome program!

- Are you using the latest stable version of SABnzbd? Downloads page.
- Tell us what system you run SABnzbd on.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings. - Do you experience problems during repair or unpacking?
Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

Which IP address did you tell SABnzbd to use?
It should not be localhost.
Usually you can leave the "host" empty, use the hostname,
use 0.0.0.0 or the true (LAN) IP address
Are your wired and wireless connections on different sub-nets?
Check your router.
Can you ping the download box?
Check how your software firewall is set up.
E.g. the Windows firewall distinguishes between LAN and WAN.

I have the IP address set to 0.0.0.0 and I connect using the IP address assigned by the router to my downloading machine which is what I assume you mean by the true IP address.
They are all on the same subnet 192.168.0.x
I noticed just now I cannot ping my downloading machine.
I've checked all my software firewalls but I shall check again.

Hello! I'm happy to report that I have resolved the issue after countless hours of searching through the pits of the Web. I was having issues with NetBIOS which was not properly configured on my network and completely disabled in my router. I also downgraded my router firmware from an unstable version to a more reliable one and that seemed to help a bit. And I apologize for troubling you with a general networking issue Shypike, but the Web server in Sabnzbd is what made the problem evident. Thank you again.
