Hey! I've installed version 0.5.2 final, but when I doubleclick the application, it just doesn't start. I then tried opening the console version to check to outcome, and it gives me this error message:
"Sorry, requires python module sqlite3 (pysqlite2 in python2.4)"
It seems like this is a Linux type problem, and I have no idea how to handle this in Windows 7..
Version: 0.5.2
OS: Windows 7
Install-type: Both the windows installer and ZIP-package
Skin (if applicable): Default
Firewall Software: Bitdefender Antivirus 2010
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? Yes

Check your virus scanner. Some are are triggering on the sqlite3.dll
and subsequently remove the file.
and subsequently remove the file.

I can't start either with 0.5.2 and BitDefender (Total Security 2010). Where can I change my antivirus/firewall settings to get it back to work?
Re: Sabnzbd 0.5.2 final startup error - sqlite3 message
You might consider complaining to the fools who made BitDefender and charged you money for it.
They have no excuse deleting a perfectly good DLL like sqlite3.
Not even if some viruses/trojans use it too.

Indeed, time for a complaint.
I "fixed" it, by turning the antivirus part of the programme off before starting sabnzbd.
Not a real answer, but whatever. As long as I can download again
