SAB Interface Doesn't Look Right

I opened up SAB today after lunch and noticed that the interface looked weird.  I can't really describe it, so I took a screenshot.

Right at the same time that this happened, I tried to open firefox on the computer that SAB is running on (I noticed the interface problem on my laptop, and not my htpc) and i get the following certificate error

http://cid-a1fc32b01cf40704.skydrive.li ... 0error.png

This error would pop up every time i tried to open up firefox and it wouldn't let me get past that screen.  On my laptop, I shut down SAB and low and behold my firefox opened up no problem.  I deleted the Sab certificate from theoptions menu and restarted sab.  I found out that if I restarted sab with my firefox window open, i would be able to navigate tothe interface with no problems.  However, if i closed firefox and tried to re-open it, I got the above error, and I couldn't get past the screen.

I figured that something in my profile got messed up, so I just created a new profile to test.  In the new profile I navigated to the sab interface and confirmed the security exception and then logged in, everything worked fine.

I then closed firefox and then opened it up again and didn't get the error, however when I went to the sab interface, i was required to confirm the security certificate exception before I could log in.  I figured that I just forgot to permanently store the exception, so I made sure that that radio button was pressed, and went along my way (with the sab interface still looking funky)

I then closed firefox again, and re-opened and discovered that again when i navigated to the sab interface, I was required to confirm the security exception.  I then went into the tools menu and manually added the security certificate and confirmed the exception and verified that the exception was stored.  I then restarted firefox, and i received the same error as above, and now sab won't open in firefox on my htpc (where sab is running).  This time however i can just close the pop up window and use firefox.  I have made sure that the sab certificate is deleted under all of the tabs in the tools menu.

I have also tried restarting sab a number of times to no avail.

I have to think that my two problems are related as they both started at pretty much the same time.  Any thoughts?

Some additional information: I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, an SAB 0.5.2 RC1.  I have had RC1 installed since it was first released a month or so ago.  If you need me to attach any other information, please let me know.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Your language files are missing.
Check if there are text files in c:\program files (x86)\SAbnzbd\language
Otherwise just install it again at the same location.

The certificate "problem" is that you trying to use https.
SABnzbd has no official https certificate (you would have t buy one),
so you need to tell your browser to trust it.

shypike - thanks very much for your quick response and help.

reinstalling sab did fix (most of) both problems.

For some reason, I wasn't able to save the certificate information in my browser, which is why i was getting that pop up error everytime I opened the browser.  For some reason after re-installing, I was able to save the server in firefox, which has helped get rid of the issue.

As far as the text looking strange, most of it is fixed, however the below text is still not showing correctly, even after the re-install.

hopefully i didn't miss anything stupid.  I just re-installed the rc1.  Here is a screen shot of the language directory.

Possibly there's a wrong language code in your sabnzbd.ini file.
What happens if you select another language in Config->General?
Try to clean your browser cache too (usually Control-F5).

i changed the language to french, and no change.

I also overrode the cache using ctrl f5 and no change.

I can upload the sab ini file if that will help.

thanks again

i just realized that for whatever reason, the "more" links in the download window are coming up normal, even though the previous ones aren't changing back.  Not sure why, but since they are almost pushed off my screen i guess it doesn't really matter.  Thanks again to shypike for your help.

The history is stored verbatim. Any translation problem at the time the entry is created is persistent.
If you change the language setting, existing history entries will not change.
