Do you experience problems during downloading?
Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.
We will probably ask you to do a test using only basic settings.

Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.
I just installed 0.5x and tried to change the download folder.
In the config screen, it's written "in "C:\xxxx\User\Documents" and if I put in the textarea E:\DL and submit modifications, nothing chang above : always written "in C:\xxxx"...
That just tells you where the default folders go. If you want to set an absolute path, go ahead and do so. It's still going to say "In C:\username\User\Documents" because that's where stuff would go if you didn't use an absolute path.
