RSS troubles.

Post by ferno »

Hi,

Firts of all let me thank the SABnzbD team for this killer app (beats newsleacher hands down)!

And now my question:
I know that RSS is not one of the best documented and supported features of SABnzbD+ but I encountered something very odd and after endless googling and searching through this forums I gave up.
Hopefully someone can help.

I added a malformed RSS feed and now the cherrypy server returns a error 500 for the rss config.
The problem is that I can't find how to remove the entry (I can't find it anywere). :(
I deleted all the sab files with the entry in it but after a restart the sab file with the entry is there again and I can see in the log that SABnzbD+ tries to fetch the feed.

Can anyone tell me how I can remove this entry?

Thank you in advance!

Go to the cache directory and remove the file rss.sab.
This will remove ALL queries.

And yes, we know RSS needs improvement, we just did not have time for it yet.

I Thanx for the reply.

Tried that already but when I restart SABnzbD+ the rss.sab is there again and the malformed entry is present in the cache file.
Any clue on what might be causing this?

I already went trhough all the files but cant find any refference to it.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I am running Sabnzbd+ on MAndriva Linux 2008 AMD64.

Hi,

Solved.
There was another rss.sab trailing arount in another dir.

I have the installation in one dir and the chache and download dirs in another location, aparently the cache dir gets created also in the installation location anyhow.

Anyway thank you for the fast response!
