You seem to have newnews.home.nl set up to use port 8080.
This is an unlikely (although possible) port number. Try using 119 or 443 instead.

8080 is the wrong number, I know newnews.home.nl.
Use newnews.home.nl:119 and don't forget to set your full @home email address as username and your email's password as password.
You should read your ISP's instructions!

Shypike, how do you know @home if i may ask?? isn't it a only in the netherlands adsl provider?

BTW, it's a internet-over-cable company, not ADSL.
