[solved] Can't access Web Interface

I've been using SABnzbd on Linux Mint happily for a year or so, but recently my system has gotten a little slow so I thought I'd try a another distro. I installed Xubuntu 9.10 64-bit on a separate drive to test it out.
After installing SABnzbd 0.4.12 from the repository I can't access the web interface from the local machine (tried localhost, 0.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.1) or from any outside PC. When I start SABnzbd the service does appear to run, and it opens my web browser at
http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd , but it displays the usual 'Unable to connect' error. I have no firewall running.
I also installed an Apache2 server (usual port 80), and I can access that no problem from the local machine and from other PCs.
I'm sure I've missed something simple here, has anyone any idea what I've done wrong?

Ubuntu messed up 0.0.0.0.
Use the real IP address of your system.
Otherwise upgrade to 0.5.0RC6

Well that was easy! I upgraded to 0.5.0RC6 and it seems to be working fine now.
Thanks!

In case this tidbit might help somebody else.
Situation: Even with my router directing the inbound traffic to my iMac which is running SABnzbd 0.5.0 RC3 I couldn't access the webinterface from outside the home nework.
Resolution: Changed the "SABnzbd Host:" from localhost:8080 to the static IP that my router assigns my computer, 192.168.0.100:8080 and it works great now.

So, using your actual IP address works for you guys?
I've never been able to get into the web interface that way on Mint Linux. I end up using a url similar to http://[::1]:8081/sabnzbd/ and I assumed it had something to do with IPV6 but, honestly I don't know what the real problem is with that.
I also found I had to switch ports to 8081 if that matters but, as long as I use
Firefox it's all good. The exact same method is a no go using the Chrome browser.
I guess my question is, why do I have to use such a weird method to connect to sabnzb? I wanted to set up the
sabnzb addon for Chrome but, can't figure out anyway for it to connect.
Is there something in Chrome I don't know about?

A bit of an update,
An upgrade to newer version seems to have solved the weird connection issues I can now use localhost rather than the [::1] stuff.
Still no-go on Chrome though, anyway I guess my original problem was solved by the update. I'll settle for Chrome just doesn't work.
Now to figure out why I'm getting authentication errors since the update.....

I'm new to Ubuntu but I was a Windows user of SABnzbd+, I used the directions on this page
http://www.usenetshack.com/install-setu ... jackalope/
and have it running in chrome on 9.10. I haven't actually started anything yet (still configuring) but thought I'd share.
