Version: 0.3.1 but happened since I can remember
OS: Ubuntu 7.10 server (this problem was also on my old xp machine)
Install-type: python source
Template Plush
Firewall Software: None
How come sometimes when a file is completely downloaded and unpacked that the there are 2 folders created. One called somefoldername and the other with a .1 (somefoldername.1)?
There is never something in the .1 folder (never seen it though..)

It is possibly from when a duplicate folder name is found in the Incomplete directory, but not is not present in the Complete folder.
I haven't verified this so can't say for sure, just speculating. I have made some changes for 0.4.0 in the unpacking code for a different purpose, but it is likely to not let this empty .1 folder happen.

Will monitor this problem en see when it happens so i can come back with more workable info.
Maybe it's because of stuck cashe files.. I have at the moment 24 cash files and 0 queue and 0 history..

I also do that and I download mainly 4.5gig files so a shutdown can happen in postprocessing.

The thinh i noticed once that it was made the next day on startup. Like it thought it wasnt finished yet, made the .1 dir then saw there was nothng to do leaving an empty .1 dir.
Maybe this helps.

I also had it once with a very small nzb. Around the 1 or 2 mb and was downloaded with no computer restarts...
edit: but that was a long time ago so no log files of that anymore... Will save the log file if it accurse again.
