Stalled and using 50% CPU

I am getting a recurring problem where SAB halts progress but still shows a speed, i.e. 366kbs. Nothing will download and I can not shut SAB down in the standard fashion. When I go to end the process I notice that it is using a constant 50% of the CPU. I have to end the process and restart SAB to start downloading again.
This normally occurs after an hour or two into downloading.

It's nice to see that people think we're clairvoyant.
This falls in the complaint category "it doesn't work".
Maybe true, but not very useful as a start of solving anything.
You don't name:
- SABnzbd version
- Operating system
- Kind of hardware it runs on
- Does it occur during post-processing?
- Reproducible?
- Specific NZBs or just in general
- Which firewall, anti-virus solutions do you use (ESet is notorious)

Sorry not the best start! Right let see I can provide some useful info.
Sab Version: 0.4.12
Os: Xp service pack 3, fully updated
Hardware: Acer Laptop, 2gb ram, Intel core Duo, 80gb hdd, 500gb Lacie NAS
Doesn't occur during post-processing.
Is a recurring problem, not sure what situation causes it. I normally notice when I check the progress during the night.
Not specific to any NZB's
Antivirus: Avast! Home edition
Other notes: After downloads complete they are transfered to the NAS drive.
Hope that helps!

Thanks, but still not specific enough.
I'm going to take the easy way out and advise you to upgrade to SABnzbd-0.5.0Beta6.
Or wait one day until 0.5.0RC3 comes out.
