Is there something in the UI that shows the post processing status? A completed download just shows up on the History page with a status of Queued.
Thanks,

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
Is there more than one job in the post processing queue.
It is possible that a post processing queue job gets stuck or crashes.
If so, restarting SABnzbd should help.

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
No, just one job in the History list (I assume that's what you mean by the post processing queue). It looks like it's working though - I can see that the timestamps are changing on the files, and the status has changed to Verifying and is reporting the number of files that have been verified. So far so good (I just installed SABnzbd a couple of hours ago).
Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
If repair by par2 is needed, this can take a lot of time.
Sometimes even hours when doing a repair on a large job on a slower system.

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
A download I started last night is stuck with the status: [PAR-INFO] f-pndm: => trying to fetch 4 more blocks...
The job doesn't appear in the download queue. It did download a PAR file with 4 blocks and the entire set was moved to the completed folder _FAILED_f-pndm.
Any suggestions on what to do next? The files are only a few days old.
Here are some relevant lines from the log file:
Sorry if these are ignorant questions, but I'm new to all of this and a little frustrated at the complexity of dealing with RARs. SABnzbd seems to be a big improvement over other newsreaders, though.

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
Set SABnzbd to paused.
Read the NZB file again.
Click on the NZB name in the queue.
Check if all the files that are shown have been downloaded.
If so, then the NZB simply contains too few par2 files to repair.
If not, there could be other problems.
You will encounter more NZB files with missing parts
or uploads that are so weird that SABnzbd cannot properly handle them.
Please report your findings.

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
I compared the list of files to the files in the download directory and it looks like all the files were downloaded except for some of the PAR2 files.
I also copied the folder back from /complete to /incomplete and renamed it to its original name.
Should I try the download again? Will SABnzbd redownload the entire set if the files already exist?
BTW, I tried another download that failed with Newsrover but worked fine with SABnzbd.
If there are too few PAR2 files, is there a way I can create them or somehow find the missing files?

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
SABnzbd cannot retry incomplete downloads.
What you can do is try to download only the missing files
(load the NZB, remove the files you already have from the list,
set post-processing to " ", empty)
copy the par files to the folder of the rest.
After that you can run par2 (or better QuickPar) to repair manually
and WinRar to unpack.
If the par2 files are not listed in the NZB, I wish you good luck
in finding them on Usenet. That's something beyond SABnzbd.
BTW: I'm interested in get a copy of the NZB file by email to bugs at sabnzbd.org

Re: How Do You Track Post Processing Status?
Downloaded your file fine.
Repair was needed, but SABnzbd managed it alright.
Maybe a fluke, crashed par2. I cannot tell.
There's nothing special about the NZB.
