pairofdimes, you should read the release notes better.
There IS a restart function in the Web-UI of SABnzbd in all 0.5.0 Beta releases.
There's even a scheduled restart available plus
an automatic restart when it detects internal problems.

Yes I do, feel a little stupid now that I found it a little while later.
Just expected it where there the shutdown was but where it actually is makes a lot of sense. Sorry about that post.
