Hi,

I'm running 0.3.1 final, I'm trying to get sabnzbd to create the newzbin categories but it doesn't seem to work. Downloads are put into the Downloads directory, do I have to create the subdirs manually first?

How are you adding newzbin posts to SABnzbd? If you are adding them by the nzb file (through blackhole folder or browsing to the nzb) I don't think it will add the newzbin cat folders as it doesn't have access to what category it is in (I could be mistaken here)

Try adding by postid or using a third party script such as nzbdstatus firefox addon.

Ah, yeah I am using the blackhole, thanks I'll give sabnzbstatus a try.

Yeah I did. Using the blackhole method doesn't seem to work for me but nzbdstatus does.

If you use the blackhole, SAB will not be able to categorize. Use nzbdstatus if you want it to categorize.

You're absolutely right. Newzbin cat's are only supported when you use report numbers on the main page or when you have a RSS feed connected to newzbin.
If you just throw NZB files at SABnzbd, it cannot find the category, because the NZB contains neither report number or category.
