Unpack before sorting

Is there a setting I am missing that will allow the files to be unpacked in the temp directory and then only place the unpacked file into the proper sorted folder?

SABnzbd unpacks files directly from the incomplete folder to the complete folder to minimize file copying if the two folders are on different hard drives/partitions.
There is currently no option to unpack to the incomplete folder before moving to the final destination (sorted or otherwise).

Are you saying that if my incomplete ( temp) folder is on a different drive, then it will unpack in the temp folder and only move the final file? But if the temp folder is on the same drive as the completed folder, it moves all files then unpacks? If so it will be easy enough to move the incomplete folder to a different drive. I reviewed the manual again about folders, and it appears to read just that.
Once the file is complete, it will verify then extract to the Complete Folder.
Thank you for the response.

It always unpacks directly to the complete folder. However if it is using SABnzbd's sorting, it unpacks to a folder inside the final sorted destination, then is moved into the final directory (instantly).
