Hey everyone,

I researched everywhere and I can not find or just my problem .... The communication ports 443 + 563 for SSL are open on my router and the IP is also enabled so ok with FAI.

I Sabnzbd 0.4.12 installed on my Synology DS409 + with the latest version, I installed the package via the web interface I can start the program via http:/son ip: 9201. I go to Add server configuration and nothing works, no server is not working or changing the ports ...

Have you an idea etc??

Your info is a bit confusing.
What are you trying to do?

Communicating with a Usenet provider over SSL doesn't require router configuration.
It does require that the SABnzbd package contains all required SSL modules.
Have you checked this with the package provider?

Using https to communicate with SABnzbd web interface is not possible with SABnzbd 0.4.12.
We are working on that for a later release.

Excuse me if my post is confused, I would like to use SABnzbd with a news server with SSL news group.

Informations on my router are that the SSL port (443, 563) are opened towards the NAS. I read that the 0.4.12 package contains many things as the SSL module, my NAS uses SSL OPEN v0.98.

My problem is not from the package installation, but my concern in simply how to add the server that does not work. Did I forget something?

Here is the procedure I applied:
I installed the package, I started SABnzbd on http:IP adress:9201, I connected to HTTP, I chosed configuration add server, I entered configuration server with information, SSL port 443 or 563, valided SSL and backup server. That didn't WORK, I received information after minute "Server is not Valid"... Should I add other information or configuration to make it work?

First of all, the router does not need any configuration, because
Usenet traffic is outgoing.

Does SABnzbd work when you try non-ssl connections over port 119?

If not, are you sure your DNS setup is right?
Open a command shell on the NAS and try to ping the Usenet server.
