Ok, I have it setup so that the downloaded files are copied to a network drive from my macmini to a NAS. I have noticed that, when the network drive is 'lost' on the mac, the download files disappear (if destination does not exist). Or has it moved the files to somewhere hidden?!

Hi, it's a known issue.
Open a Finder and type shift-command(apple key)-G
Enter /Volumes and click Go
You should find your files...

If by ejecting the "phantom" volume you mean delete, so yes it's gone...

I'm having a problem similar to yours, however I am downloading to the local HDD that is in my MacBook.  here is the deal...  I start a download and it when it's done it's not in the  "/Users/Username/downloads/complete/" folder. So I tried another download and while it was downloading I looked in the "incomplete" folder and nothing was there either.  Here is the odd part, the file size(s) have been subtracted from the free space on the on my drive.

Specs

MacBook
O/S 10.6
Hard disk: 500Gbs
Memory: 2Gbs

I checked the folder via the terminal and did a "ls -ah " to see if there was anything hidden in the complete folder, no luck...

Does anyone have any Ideas.

Have you got this issue with all downloads or just with one nzb ?
If only one, could you send me the nzb, if all could you send me your sabnzbd.ini ?
