Not upacking files after completion

Not sure if this is a bug, something to do with the nzb or something i did, but I'm getting a log like this:

[8GJBL3487sjuf421I713qy26T46mmXClf6ocl] Trying unrar with password "jnbxEc687kcA7"
[8GJBL3487sjuf421I713qy26T46mmXClf6ocl] Unpacked 0 files/folders in 0 seconds
[8GJBL3487sjuf421I713qy26T46mmXClf6ocl] Trying unrar with password "jnbxEc687kcA7"
[8GJBL3487sjuf421I713qy26T46mmXClf6ocl] Unpacked 0 files/folders in 0 seconds

And it just leaves the rar files in the final folder which will unpack fine manually with the same password.

I have the full logs if that helps.

Can you share the full logs and not just the last part?
From when you added the download to the queue.

So far the output from unrar seems weird..

Very interesting bug.
The cause is that Direct Unpack gets stuck, which causes some files to be already present from the unpack that started,
Because by default it doesn't overwrite, the next unpacks don't do anything.
So in the end it just copies over all the rar files.

The real bug is that Direct Unpack got stuck, it's because it started before deobfuscation was done.
Will investigate.

Could you share the nzb with me at safihre@sabnzbd.org?

does the issue go away if you dont use direct unpack?

Often if I just re add them they'll work - there doesnt seem to be much consistency. That's what I did with the 2 I emailed and they both worked fine with direct unpack still on.

assuming you are using sab 4.5.5, if not.. update to latest.
what os/env do you run sab? do you use container - if so which one?
and can you set sab logging to debug if its not (wrench > logging level in the bottom right). replicate the issue. then share the sanitize log+config from wrench > show logging.

No I’m running latest 4.6.0 Alpha 1 on Ubuntu and it’s not in a container but I have emailed all the logs already.

k, just was curious if you were using unrar 7.20b2 or some really outdated version of unrar.. 7.12 is almost current

looking at your issue, you can see that sab asks unrar to unpack.. but something happen where unrar didnt extract anything:

Code: Select all
