New user and slow speed (personal opinion)

Hello Forum.

I am new to usenet and hence new to sabnzbd so don't go extreme tech on me please! Lol.

I believe I have set up things correctly and I have noticed that my download speed is quite slow. I could be wrong and it is not as much of an issue but it is something which is nagging me to know for my own satisfaction.

The broadband speed test Image

The sabnzbd config menu screenshot Image

I should point out that I am using WiFi and all drivers are up to date. I am not sure if running a network cable will make a difference. Will it?

Is the score and settings are OK? I am overthinking that speed of 65mb capped is slow? 16GB Ram, 4TB Nvme 4.0 Clean windows 10 pro and only sabnzbd is installed and no other apps for downloading.

I did went through the settings wiki page and some options I have changed and option which I did not understood I did not touch them.

Your advice is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

Where do you see that "65mb"?

And note: if SABnzbd reports "65 MB/s" that's mega BYTE per second, which is about 525 Mbps (bits per second)

Your broadband speed test says 550 Mbps
SABnzbd says "Internet Bandwidth 49.64 MB/s 397.12 Mbps", so about 400 Mbps.

Probably yes.

Thank you sander for the clarification. I think it is my misunderstanding about the way speed is calculated. When downloading it shows the speed on the top right corner in graph and numbers and it is from where I see the speed. I appreciate that you clarified how speed works.

If the calculation is correct than running a cable will make more or less not much of a difference but I will give it a try and see if anything changes.
