Hi there,

For the last two weeks sab has been randomly stopping the downloads. its not paused, there's room in the temp folder and in the regular folder. Internet is connecting fine everywhere else. I've tried restarting my computer, restarting sab, uninstalling and reinstalling sab. Test download won't download either.

When this happened a few weeks ago, I tried deleting the unpack files and it seemed to work but it's not having any effect this time. I've tried googling, i've tried stuff that I found in this forum. I tried posting to reddit and got no responses. I'm at a loss.

After the last install, now it loses connection often and doesn't want to load the page so I made it worse

Anyone have any ideas?

Which OS is Sab running on?

Windows 11

Then SAB is not starting. And thus not downloading ...

google that error ... a lot of info: something else is on that port, or over-eager firewall/virusscanner/windows

it's only been doing that since I uninstalled a few days ago though. It was stopping downloads for the past week or more. I did run malwarebytes to check if there was something that my defender was missing and it said it turned on firewall but I completely forget how to check the port and my firewall settings. (i uninstalled malwarebytes)

No. I can't figure out how to fix the port issue, it still won't load. Everything i'm finding online is for linux. The only thing I can find is task kill in cmd but it's not working for me and I'm sure i must be typing it in wrong but I dont know how

EDIT: I made a new rules in my firewall for it and tried restarting it and its connected now. But it still wont download anything

These are great with lists, checks, interaction. Based on all what has been said in this forum, on Reddit, and on websites.

none of the suggestions have helped. Turning off SSL helped for about 2 minutes before it started slowing til it stopped. Changed the temp folder and completed folder, restarted, shut down, changed port.

It works for a few minutes then slows until it finally stops. Test download still won't download.
