Post-processing Movies no longer working (stable for literally years)...

I run SABnzbd on MacPro 6,1 (Late 2013) | macOS Monterey 12.7.6.

At some point this year, maybe February/March, after an upgrade from SAB 2.x.x to 4.x.x (currently 4.2.1), my movies post-processing suddenly stopped working. TV post-processing with Sonarr is working without issue. It puts the files in the correct folders, but it will do one of two things:

- it either puts the entire unpacked folder into the directory on my Drobo 5D without any renaming (set to [MovieName] (YYYY).file)...
- or it will put the video file itself and delete the folder without renaming (both file names are the [ASDF(*&DGJKADF(SDFIHASLKJDH)(^.file] random file names.

I have taken screenshots of the settings, shutdown SAB, blown away the config file and restarted with fresh settings, still nothing. What happened and what am I not missing ??? ??? ??? ...I have to manually fix all of these files every so often when I remember to clean things up. PMS still finds everything and provides metadata, but only with first option when it has the [movie.title.year.format.codec.post] name correct.

Please and thank you...

What settings do you have configured? Sorting?

At first enable Deobfuscate final filenames in Config Switches, it's enabled by default on new configurations.
You also have to make sure to configure Sorting for the right category, as that's now required. So make sure Series Sorting is enabled for the category used by Sonarr.
Or did you configure something special for Categories?
The default installation of 4.2 will work flawlessly with Sonarr. So something you configured.
