How to resolve inconsistent download speeds

Have got an issue I can’t seem to identify, the download and complete folder speeds during downloads are embarrassingly low around ~2-10 MB/s. I’m running a beelink s13 mini with 1gbps Ethernet, usb c to my das that currently has 2 24tb x24 seagate exos. Running the incomplete on the beelink ssd (/data/downloads/usenet/incomplete) and completed folder on hdd (/data/downloads/complete). Not really sure if it’s the beelink throttling my disk speeds or what’s happening, ran speed tests on the ssd and hdd and they perform well except when the downloads start working. Anyone run into this issue before?

How did you run that test?
I used the dd command in Ubuntu for a separate write and read test with oflag=direct and iflag=direct, I’m new the Ubuntu so maybe there is a better way to do it?

What command exactly? Because: did you test write to "/data/downloads/usenet/incomplete"?

So: post the command you used. Put spaces around dots (to avoid blocking your post as you're a new forum user)
