HDD/SSD setup, and atomic moves

Hello. I set up my NAS following the Trash Guides and everything works fine. I did notice though that download speeds are far from my optimum downstream of1 gbps (I max out at around 30 mb/ s). Tweaked everything I could according to the guide on their website and decided to install two ssds in raid modus to move my dockers to and to set it as the temporary download folder for SABnzbd.
Current setup is 5 HDDS in storage pool1 (volume1). Folder mounted in docker as volume1/data/downloads/usenet/. I now want to setup the two ssds as storage pool 2 (volume2). Can just mount as volume2/data/downloads/usenet/incomplete/ and then set the temporary download folder as such? Goal is download to the ssds, unpack there and the move the completed file over to the slower HDD pool into the complete folder, where it will be grabbed by the arrs. Am still learning though and not sure if this will have an effect on the ability of using atomic moves?
Thanks in advance
