SABnzbd Forums

Hi,

I had some problems with Sabnzbd and I was running an earlier version so I decided to uninstall it and install the newest version the day before. However after doing so, I cannot connect to my Astraweb account and download even thou I have put in all the fields in the server tab exactly the same as before.

I am defining the server as news.astraweb.com with port 119. Putting in my username and password correctly. Not choosing ssl or backup, etc...

Then when it gets the nzb files, it basicly doesn't download anything. I tried to use Astraweb with another software and it was all ok. On the connections tab, I get the following error:

Failed to connect: (10061, 'Connection refused') 1@news.astraweb.com

I made sure I am using correct username and password but it simply cannot connect to the server.

What is the problem?

I tried grabit and it didn't work as well 

I tried downloading Sabnzbd to another pc at home and it worked flawlessly. So problem is neither astraweb nor sabnzbd...

A couple of days ago I installed openvpn and get a vpn service from US. Although I'm not using it at mom, my problems started right after that on this pc. I really need a solution to this as not being able to use Sabnzbd is killing me...

did you ever figure this out ??
