Slow start of downloads

Hi, I guess I maybe ticked something I shouldnt, but If anyone knows why it takes 30 seconds before an added NZB file starts to download? Seems connected to many connections and it awaits them all to get connected, I use 50 connection from 3 servers

You can enable Debug logging in the Status window and then click Show Logging after the slow start. You can see what it is doing.
It most certainly doesn't wait untill all are connected, all connections are initiated and handled in parallel.
Possible causes are slow DNS lookup and slow SSL handshake.
Could also be that you are far away from the servers. Or do you use a VPN?
Have you tried a different provider already?
In any case, almost nobody needs 50 connections, I can get close to gigabit speeds with just 15 for 1 server. Although I'm quite close to the Newshosting servers in Amsterdam.

Thx for the answer. I live in Thailand so quite a bit away from the servers and need many connections to get good speed. I have installed NzbGet and dont have the problem there with same setup, but im so used to Sabnzbd and would like to fix it. Will try and do a log and see whats going on
