2 icons in tray/2 entries in taskmanager>startup

I am running SABnzbd 4.1.0 [b7e3401] on Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2 build 19045.2965, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19041.1000.0. My pc has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz, with 32Gb RAM.

Recently, I think it was after the latest SABnzbd update but I'm not sure, I started seeing two SABnzbd icons in the system tray after a reboot. Hovering the mouse pointer over one of them shows a balloon with "SABnzbd", while the other one shows "SABnzbd 4.1.0 Idle". Only the second one shows a menu when I right click on it.

When I look in the Windows taskmanager there's only one instance running. However, in the Startup tab of taskmanager SABnzbd appears twice, both pointing to the same executable in the "C:\Program Files\SABnzbd" folder. Shell:startup has only one shortcut for SABnzbd.

If I disable one of the instances in taskmanager and reboot, there is only one icon in the tray. However, I would like to get rid of the extra one in the startup tab. Does anyone have any ideas about how to do this? Is there some way I can uninstall SABnzbd without losing my settings, then reinstall to see if that fixes it? This isn't a critical problem, just something that annoys me slightly.

Did you maybe install SAB as a service at some point?
Might be worth to do a full uninstall while backing up your configuration (see first page of Config). You can then restore the configuration in the wizard after installation.

I don't remember if I ever installed it as a service.

I uninstalled it, then checked the startup tab in taskmanager and both instances were gone. I then re-installed, and now there is only one entry in startup. I left the box to delete the settings unchecked when I uninstalled, so I didn't need to use the backup I made. Hopefully everything will still work after my next reboot.

Thanks for your help, I never noticed that info in the config section before.
