Hello
I have a peculiar problem.
If I put sabnzbd on pause and then resume the download speed is at maximum (100mB/s).
But after a few minutes it drops to half speed 50mB/s and stays there for hours.
My config is :
AMD 3900x
Ram 32 gb
2 ssd 2tb in raid 0
2 netwok cards, 1 on 10.0.0.x, the other 192.168.x.x
Windows 10 new installation.
Drivers are the latest and check ok
Nothing runs but sabnzbd.

In the Status and Interface settings window, is there shown "Speed limited by"?
What if you download the test downloads in that window?

I solved it.
It was a problem with raid drivers.

I have An MSI b450M-A-PRO-MAX
I have the message in sabnzbd status window :
Download speed limited by Disk speed (718x)

There you have the answer. You or someone else has to solve that. It's a system thing. SABnzbd can only report it.

To measure it, while SABnzbd is NOT doing anything:


In SABnzbd's upper right corner, click on the wrench symbol ("Status and interface options"), then click on first tab Status, and there click on the Refresh Arrow. Post the values of the lower part here.

For example Windows Defender or other anti virus and anti malware can scan everything SABnzbd does, causing lots of extra IO.
