SAB slower on M1 with SSD than Syno (limited by disk speed)

Hey everyone. I recently moved by SAB installation from SAB 4.0.2 running in a docker container on my synology to running 4.0.3 on my M1 Mac mini. I have a 1GB fiber connection and was pulling 25 MB/s when running on the synology and now I'm only puling around 15 on the Mac. The Mac is reporting that Download speed is limited by Disk speed 12x despite having an SSD which I'd imagine is much faster that the spinning platters in the NAS.

What could be causing this?

Thanks in advance!

What if you go to fast.com on your mini?
Those devices should easily be capable of 100MB/s.

Fast reports 1150MB from the Mac mini. It seems the SSD is somehow the limitation.

I think you mean Mbps (not MB)?
It seems the SSD is somehow the limitation.
That would be weird. So:

While SABnzbd is NOT doing/downloading anything: In SABnzbd's upper right corner, click on the wrench symbol ("Status and interface options"), then click on first tab Status, and there click on the Refresh Arrow. Post the values of the lower part here.
