Ok I am about to receive my popcornhour C200 (basically a network media player).

It contains a small linux version.

It has NZBGet as an application.

I would love to get SABNZBD working on it, there is a toolchain available.

I have pretty little experience in the field but could anyone give me a clue on the difficulty of getting SAB working?

SABnzbd's weak point is in that it's written in Python.
That means it uses more memory and CPU power than nzbget does.
If it has less than 128M of memory (maybe even 256M) , forget it.

SABnzbd requires a working Python 2.4 or 2.5.
If you have that, most required modules can be installed.
yEnc's C-module can be a problem, but not having it will give only a speed penalty.
Cheetah's _namemapper has the same problem, but is not required.
