sabnzbd on Windows Home Server

I am running sabnzbd on my Windows Home Server ex485 and it spikes the cpu to 100% constantly. Is this normal on this type of machine or how can i fix this? Thanks.
All I can say is that it doesn't do that on my WHS server (Atom230).
When downloading at 5 MByte/sec is uses about 5-15% CPU with an occasional short peak to 70%.
When par2 start repairing, the CPU load high (as expected).
