I have a 500 problem with a new installation. I installed yesterday from ubuntu software and it installed and worked. Then I brought it up today and it said there was a new version available as mine was no longer supported. I pressed the button and got directions on updating (setup the ppa and then updated with update and install. then I ran it again and got the 500 error. Somebody gave me a possible solution but I cannot run the program because of the error. So I want on a quest to find the config file. I have the old disk upon which a new version of sabnzbd was on and it had one in /home/sabnzbd/sabnzbd.ini My problem is that I don't have a .sabnzbd in my home directory or anyplace else I can find.

This being the case I suspect that my installation is not right and would be delighted if anybody could point me in the right direction!

I finally figured out and found the sabnzbd.ini file! (ignorant) I should have known the trick (show all files) so, now I have the ini file but have lost the solution. I will keep trying to find it. Sorry for the screwup.

first I will try to use my old ini file from the other drive and see what that gets me.

I started over, removed everything, and re-installed and, this time, everything worked and sabnzbd+ is up and running!
