How can I search for entries with a specific status, like 'failed' or 'duplicate'?

Is this possible for both, the current queue and history?

Failed can be done by using the (!) button to only show Failed ones.
Filtering the queue by tag (like Duplicate) is currently not possible, similar feature request has been made:
