I was wondering how the various options for categorizing RSS feeds work.

In the RSS Feed Definition dialog, there is a drop down list box for categories (beside the Save button) and there is a category field in the Filter dialogs.  So how do these work together?  Does the Filter category over-ride the one in the Feed Definition?

Using v. 0.4.11 under OS X 10.5.6.

Without looking at the code to make sure, I believe the one in the filter dialogs should overwrite the category set for that RSS feed.

If the filter has a category set, that will be used.
If filter category is "default", then the feed category is used.
