no connection [ 10061 timed out ]

hi there I'm new to all this so any help would be greatly appreciated
I've signed up to xs usenet tried to setup sabnzbd using password and user name when I test connection it says 10061 timed out I've disabled firewall and anti virus and tried different ports still the same thanks for looking scully

Which newsserver (full address) did you fill out?

And:
"[Errno 10061] (10060, 'timed out')" means 1) Yes, the hostname is resolvable (so not spelling mistake) and 2) it's unreachable for the port given
You can generate the error when you fill out "
www.microsoft.com" as newsserver ...

Use reader.xsusenet.com instead.

hi there matey after reading your last advice i went back to usenet seems ive subscribed for a vpn account by mistake thats why my login is incorrect the web site vis not very clear when sighning up thanks for the good advice youve definetly helped me
