Hi,

i use "Touch VPN" in my Firefox Browser on my Win 10 64bit Desktop PC.

When i search on Usenet Websites - and when i find some stuff and click on use/include with sabnzbd (Version 3.1.1)...
now the following Problem/Question....

My Question is: How can i set the VPN to all my Processes?


when the files including finished and i want to see, that the Files download, the sabnzbd Page is not possible to see:
= the "interface"
i get a message: "connection blocked".
Only, when i set off to "Touch VPN" in my Firefox Browser, the Page is possible to watch - and i see, all good, the Download works.

But i want to use VPN for all Processes:
search on Usenet Websites - and when i find some stuff and click on use/include with sabnzbd (Version 3.1.1), then i can see that and the files would be download with VPN (Touch VPN is enabled) - so my real IP is not leaked.

The answer is: install Touch VPN on your operating system Windows (and not just in your browser). I see https://touchvpn . net/ offers Windows executables, so I think that should work.

But, please be aware, your question is not SAB related / specific. It's about VPN usage.

Thanks for your Post.

now i downloaded and installed the "TouchVPN_1.0.22.msi" File.
after that i start the Tool and change the Country to (example) Russia.

Then i open the Firefox - i can see at the line with the Add ons, that the Touch VPN Add On is not enabled.
But i see on the left Side on my desktop Screen the opened (installed) Touch VPN Window.
it shows: Encryption is enabled: Russia

so, when i now look to my Interface from sabnzbd ( where i want to see my List of Files, which the plan is, to download them)
= it shows.

but, where i can find the definitly Fact, that the Firefox use the Russia VPN IP, and not my real IP?

when i use your Link . it shows me:

My Public IPv4 is: 193.109.85.20
My Public IPv6 is: Not Detected
Location: Moscow, MOW RU
ISP: Anchorfree GmbH

that means, the Protection is enough - to use sabnzbd for downloading Files ( SAB related)
+ to click files to download with sabnzbd (SAB related) from my favourite usenet homepage?

and my real IP is protected?

You can verify that within SAB:

In SABnzbd's upper right corner, click on the wrench symbol ("Status and interface options"), then click on first tab Status, and then check what you see at
"Public IPv4 address"

SABnzbd's upper right corner, click on the wrench symbol, then click on first tab Status:

local IPv4-Adress: xxx (is not the same from puplic IPv4)
puplic IPv4-Adress: 193.109.85.20
IPv6-Adress: nothing
DNS-Server: OK


193.109.85.20 is the IP , which the Touch VPN created, i think.

so, the result is for all Users who wants to use sabnzbd with nzb monkey....
= and to use VPN IP´s ( with the Windows File "Touch VPN" )
- and not their real life IP...

it works and all Users can read this Thread and can configurate.
