I have two computers, both with Windows 10 x64. To access IPv6-sites I use a Hurricane IPv6 Tunnel.
On both computers Sabnzbd v3.1.0 is installed with the IPv6-news-server: newszilla6 from xs4all .
On both computers I have batch-files to enable or disable the IPv6 Tunnel because running the Tunnel on both computers at the same time does not work.
On one computer when I test the server newszilla6 I get: Succesvol verbonden! (connection successful).

On the second computer I can ping newszilla6l and browse IPv6-sites.However testing newszilla6 in Sabnzbd refuses to work: It always results in an error-message in red:
! Kan verbindingsresultaat niet bepalen (500 command not recognized)

I tried a fresh install of Sabnzbd from scratch but the behavior of “Test Server” remained the same. Also a search on the internet did not give further info on this problem.

When, in Sabnzbd I select ONLY (!!) newszilla6 from the servers installed and open the Status and Interface settings (Wrench-symbol) and click the 1000MB Test-download button to verify I get a Download-window with a Queue showing a progressing orange bar (increasing % of missing articles).

This, to my humble opinion, suggests a connection with the newszilla6-server.
I searched for differences between both computers that could explain the different behavior but could’nt find a solution. Can somebody help me solve this?

What a fuzzy setup. Why don't do you let a router do the IPv6 handling on your LAN so that all devices have IPv6? Or choose an ISP that offers IPv6 to its customers: Ziggo, KPN, Xs4all ... ?

And all this is needed to reach the free newszilla6?

Anyway: on Computer1 resp Computer2, with IPv6 enabled:

SABnzbd -> Wrench -> Status: what does "IPv6 address" tell you?
what does https://test-ipv6.com/ tell you for an IPv6 address
can you reach http://ipv6.google.com/

- "A fuzzy setup"... I am not in a position to disagree, my knowledge on internet, routing and so on is very limited. With a lot of internet-searching and trial and error I manage to find my way.
My Ziggo modem was configured DS-lite. In order to be able to do portforwarding Ziggo changed my modem-firmware into IPv4-firmware, thus losing IPv6 connectivity. To regain IPv6 connectivity i started a Tunnel at Hurricane Electric.

- "Why don't do you let a router do the IPv6 handling on your LAN".... Well, I would like to, but don't have the knowledge. And research on the internet to set this up on a Windows 10 computer did'nt result in a stepwise procedure to clear the job. Every reference to help me get started to set this up is welcome.

- Back to my Sabnzbd server problem. On both computers test-ipv6_com/ gives 10/10. I can ping ipv6_google_com and also open this and other ipv6-sites in my browser. Although I should mention there are a few websites that refuse to open when the tunnel is active: e.g. spotweb (www_nzbserver_com) gives a '404 not found' screen. After some googling I found a solution that solved the 404-screen; the following command helped:
netsh interface ipv6 add prefixpolicy 2001:470::/32
(it adds a prefix policy to prefer IPv4 addresses over IPv6).

Testing ipv6-newsservers (e.g. newszilla6) in Sabnzbd refuses to work on one (!) of my two computers in my home-network, it always results in an error-message in red:

Not that the use of newszilla6 is of major importance, but being unable to use ipv6 newsservers bothers and intrigues me. That's why I posted my problem.

Even more fuzzy setup than I thought. And what a pity you don't use Ziggo's IPv6.

Your IPv6 connectivity is not working correctly. Solve that. The SAB forum is about SABnzbnd, not about IPv6 networking

Disappointed that my problem is annoying you.
Using Ziggo's IPv6 it is impossible to do portforwarding.
To my knowledge IPv6 is working ok now. Only using SAB I meet the problem mentioned.
You state that my IPv6 connectivity is not working correctly. OK. But i cannot find a solution. Every help in that direction would still be apreciated.
