Hello, I have been using SABnzb for a long time without any issues. However, just yesterday I tried to download a password protected file and the download failed saying it needed a password. I put the password in before the download as I've always done but it still failed. I retried the download and it failed again. So, I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it with no result. It will still not read the password. It recognizes the file is password protected but will not recognize the password when I supply it. I have read lots of posts regarding password failures and I find most of the fixes confusing. Can someone help?

When you have entered the password, does it show in the interface next to the download-name? It should show it as a small lock.
In the History, it should also show which password was tried.
Last option would be to inspect the logs. You should enable Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window, then after it happens again you can inspect the logs for the output of unrar.
