Hello I am new to the forums and this is my first post, I tried searching for this but was unable to find another topic about this.
Version: 0.4.11 Fina
OS: Windows XP SP2,
Install-type: Windows Installer,
Skin (if applicable): Default,
Firewall Software:  None
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? (yes)



Basically I tried setting up categories to download certain things to another hard drive but it only works if I manually set the category in the queue page. I have firefox save all my files to a nzb folder that SABNZBD watches. I have not tried saving files as category.name of file.nzb or making a category in watched folder as I thought that it should be able to pull the Newzbin category from the NZB file.

We cannot pull the categoy from the nzb file.

Recommended ways of adding a file with support for newzbin categories
1) nzbdstatus - Firefox addon that adds 1-click download links to newzbin
2) Entering the newzbin post url or postid into sabnzbd
3) Bookmarking an item in newzbin and using sabnzbd to fetch the bookmark (either automatically, or manually)
4) Create a folder with the name of your category inside your watched folder and save the file there (Eg c:\...Desktop\WatchedFolder\CategoryName)
5) Naming the nzb file {{CategoryName}}file.nzb

I have tried method 1 and so far no change( the add is pretty cool though)
I have tried method 2 and that does not seem to acquire the category either


ok so it really does work, but it has some strange behavior in the web interface, I will navigate to the queue page and it shows no category, if click another page inside sabnzbd then click back it will show the category otherwise if I leave it alone it will stay on category none

When a NZB file is picked up using the report-id from newzbin, it does work.
(Except when picking up an xxx job, those do not have a category set by newzbin  )
