Using tvsort.py independently of SABnzbd

I only recently discovered the TV sorter, but I've got a bunch of files already that I'd like sorted.

I'm wondering if there's a way to use tvsort.py independently of sabnzbd, so I could just sort/name everything I've already got.

Not easily, no. tvsort.py works on the name of the nzb file whn deciding sorting. It would take quite a bit of modification to make it work with pre-existing files.

Is it possible to support renaming the season name of each tv show to uppercase?

My current library does something like this SEASON.NAME/S01/SEASON.NAME.S01E01.ext

I was able to use a plug-in post-processing script to support renaming the file name, but now I'm having trouble with the primary directory.

Since I am running this on a debian box, it creates a brand new directory with the mixed case Season.Name instead of putting it in my existing directory like it does on my Mac box which is case-insensitive.

Thanks.

There is currently no transforming to upper-case support. 0.5 does however have transformation to lower-case support by surrounding text in {}
