Unable to bind port..

Post by grandell79 »

Hello

I get this..

Fatal error:
Unable to bind to port 8080 on 127.0.0.1. Some other software uses the port or SABnzbd is already running.

It comes up as soon i start the computer. Tried uninstall with no luck. Nothing else is changed that i am aware of anyway.
Worked fine 2 days ago. SAB is not running as far as i can see. CAnt open anything at all so that i can change anything within sab

Running on w10 64bit. Also have it on another computer running w8. No problem there

Maybe some other program is blocking it? Like a virusscanner?
Or did you install it as a Windows Service?

You can go to your sabnzbd.ini (see https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/advanced/directory-setup)
And change the line:
port = 8080
to:
port = 8081

See if it starts after that.
