Can't access web interface running as a service

Newbie installed Sabnzbd on media server a couple of days ago and all working fine.

More convenient to run 'as a service' so set this up yesterday as per the official instructions.

All seemed to work fine in terms of configuring the 2 services and them running correctly but can no longer access the web interface from another computer on the network. Tried changing URL to the actual IP address of the server but to no avail - page wouldn't load.

Remoted back onto the server - stopped the 2 services and manually fired up Sabnzbd. Back to laptop and was immediately able to access the web interface without issue.

I really need to run as a service so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
TD

Is the service actually working on the server? When you start the service, can you reach it with a browser on the remote?
This can also be a permissions thing, that the port is not allowed to be used when not used as a user.

Thanks for the reply.
There's a few things for me look at there.

I've also been advised (on chat) to run from source at startup and avoid the service route altogether.

All the best,
