SABnzbd Forums

Hello,

I am a new member on the forums and I was just wondering as it keeps bugging me.
I am using SABnzbd with a lot of joy, however, I save my NZBs in a directory in which from there, the NZB-files are imported.
Is it possible to let the NZB files stay in that particular folder without it changing from a .NZB file to a .RAR file?
Every file that I download is a NZB-file that, as soon as it's imported, changes to a .RAR file.

I have checked several settings but I wasn't able to find anything that could solve this little thing which is why I'm asking it here.

You should first disable ".nzb Backup Folder" first, this is the 'change to rar' you are referring to.
However, it will still delete the files after import.

I'm not sure if that's what I want.
I want to keep the imported files, but don't want them to be .RAR files, they just need to be .NZB files.

Hmm, that's not possible because it's also not a very much used function.
By the way: SAB will allow you to upload these compressed files directly, it doesn't need the .nzb. It handles the compressed ones directly aswelll.
