Since my first set of downloads I have not been able to download anything since.
I believe the cause to be an Error that occurred during that first downloading.

Here is Error message:
Server MY SERVER uses an untrusted certificate [Certificate hostname mismatch: the server hostname is not listed in the certificate.

It gave me a URL to learn more about this error and give solutions to fix the issue.
Easy but not secure: Don’t use SSL (untick SSL).

My question is what is the ramifications of turning off SSL?

I know something is less secure but I don't know what that would be.

If there is any other solutions I would appreciate knowing what those would be.

In short, the safest you can do is use a proper newsserver that doesn't have bad SSL certificates. We also provide there a long list of newsservers without problems.

I must have read that page 10 times. I have finally got Sabnzbd working . Just one more question; I promise. The way I got it to work was to uncheck the SSL box.

I know I do not have Sabnzbd setup to start when I boot Windows. As soon as I put an nzb file into my incomplete folder, Sabnabd automaticaly starts downloading files.
I assume this is normal. The question is that I really want it to not start downloading until I tell it to.

How do I do that?

Yesterday I had Sabnzbd working like a charm. Yesterday I had turned off SSN and it began downloading immediately.

This morning I have 8 nzbs in my incomplete folder and NOTHING has happened in the last hour. I even went in and checked Sabnabd to make sure SSN was turned OFF. I also set Certificate Verification I seat to disabled.

Still nothing. What the heck is going on.

I am totally buffaloed.

Restart sabnzbd, maybe your servers timed out for some reason or other problems.
Seems a servers that's not too reliable maybe..
