Hi,

I enabled 'Detect Duplicate Downloads' and selected 'Fail job (move to History)' . But unfortunately the duplicates still show up as DUPLICATE (paused) in the queue, also after a restart. Is something wrong with this switch? Or am I confused? :-)

The version I use: 1.2.0 [1be50eb]

When you check the Config Switches page, was the setting saved?

Yes, I did, I also restarted SABnzb, the change is still visible.

Maybe I can edit it in config.ini?

How are jobs being added? Upload or URL?

Hm, I installed 1.2.1 (yes, I know it is not final )

Now the duplicates are being downloaded, while I configured them to fail. Should I reconfigure something?

I just tested again, and it works for me.
Did notice a small difference: SAB's main duplicate detection uses a check based on real NZB content or show name/season/episode, this is the most strict way.
So if a job is not exactly the same size, it's not always seen as a duplicate.

The RSS checker doesn't have the real NZB content yet, so it only does a simple check based on the title of the job. It's the best we can do during RSS checks.

I use RSS-feeds to feed SABnzbd. The duplicates are the same files, from different feeds. Just to be sure: this can differ in size / name?
